Accountability
We emphasize fiscal integrity, transparency and sustainability. We pride ourselves on maximizing the impact of every dollar and in-kind gift we receive in donations. By adhering to the highest financial accountability standards and The Donor Bill of Rights, we are able to partner with groups like Orange County United Way (OCUW) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Our leadership recognizes the need for a sustainability plan and therefore they are currently participating in an in-depth Capacity Building process which includes updating the strategic plan focused on increasing community awareness, creating outreach tools, identifying new revenue sources, establishing measurable outcomes and more. For this planning, we received a capacity building grant from the Orangewood Foundation in association with OneOC and CONNECT. This plan also addresses diversification of GHH funds and reviewing the mix of funding streams.
