When BV aged out of the foster care system, he faced more questions than answers.  Where would he go?  What would he do?  How would he learn the life skills he still needed?

That’s when he found the Grandma's House of Hope Behavioral Health Bridge Program—a place that became the foundation he needed to rebuild.

The challenges? Big ones. Mastering basic life skills. Building confidence.  Charting a path forward.

But BV?  He rose to meet every single one.

There were setbacks (there always are).  But through it all, BV held onto a positive outlook and a drive to succeed.  He stayed committed to his future and kept showing up for himself—even on the hard days.

His resilience was unmatched.  His growth?  Inspiring.

BV’s progress has been incredible to witness,” says one of the BHBH staff. He took control of his life and never gave up.  We’re so proud of him.

And now?  BV is stepping into the next chapter of his life—transitioning to permanent housing, ready for whatever comes next.

Your contributions didn’t just help BV.   They changed his life.

Did you know?  Since the program began in April 2024, three participants transitioned to independent living with newfound confidence and skills.  BV is one of them.  We have four more participants in the pipeline for permanent housing!

We’re not stopping here.  There’s still so much work to be done.  More new chapters to be written.

If you want to make sure more people like BV can rewrite their stories, join us today.  Every dollar counts.  Every life matters.

Thank you for being part of this mission.  Let’s keep going.  There’s so much more hope to build.
