Ten years on the streets. Active addiction. Domestic violence.

Lamora fled the violence, only to live in a tunnel underground for three years. It was the darkest time of her life.

But then, Lemora found Grandma’s House of Hope.

That’s when everything changed.

Milestones of a New Life

In just 18 months, Lamora's life turned around.

Got sober. Working a strong recovery program.

Found employment. A real job that has given her a means to support herself.

Essential documents. Birth certificate, social security card, driver’s license.

Secured housing. Grandma's House of Hope helped her get her own apartment.

Education. Full-time student, on the Honor Roll.

And, she's financially stable. Grandma's House of Hope taught Lamora to budget. She now has a nest egg and several months of expenses saved up.

Words from Lamora's Heart

"Because of Grandma's House of Hope and Narcotics Anonymous, I have hope for a future that didn’t exist before. I was hopeless and broken in that tunnel. Today, my life isn’t like that.”

"Grandma's House of Hope helped me get my head on straight and find the path I wanted in life. Now, I’m making those dreams come true. Dreams that didn’t exist when I was living in that tunnel."

“Today, I’m financially stable. They taught me how to budget my money. Now, I’m ok.”

"I recently got back in contact with my 16-year-old daughter. An answered prayer."

"I see people on the street, and I tell them, 'Go to GHH. They will help you. They helped me change my life completely. And, if you’re there, just stay. Don’t leave before the miracle happens. They will help you get your life together.'”

Grandma's House of Hope gives the tools and support needed to change and restore the lives of those that want help.

At Grandma's House of Hope, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and commitment. Together, we're building a safe place to call home for those who need it most.

We invite you to take this journey with Grandma’s House of Hope.  A journey of hope, healing and restoration. Together, we can EMPOWER the INVISIBLE POPULATION of ORANGE COUNTY!
