When TW walked through Grandma's House of Hope's doors, her life was shattered.

She had lost her home due to COVID-19. As a multiple-time stalking victim, PTSD had become part of her daily life. Her days were heavy, her hope was fading.

But she didn’t give up.

TW joined our Women’s Bridge program determined to rebuild. She threw herself into her routines—organizing chores, uplifting others with her advice, and making self-care a priority proving every day just how resilient she is.

Her biggest dream? Rekindling her relationship with her son, who serves in the military.

As TW works diligently toward that dream she's also preparing for a fresh start in her very own apartment. Her vision? A minimalistic yet chic space, complete with vintage furniture she’s excited to bring from her storage unit.

With help from our team—Case Manager Lisa Beck, Housing Navigator Sarah Cox, Housing Support Specialist Pilar Cordova, and Program Manager Fatima Torres—four incredible women who worked tirelessly to guide her journey to stability. Each brought a unique strength:

Lisa Beck provided thoughtful case management, making sure TW’s goals stayed on track.

Sarah Cox navigated the complex world of housing resources, finding TW her perfect home.

Pilar Cordova brought care and structure through meals, medication support, and activities.

Fatima Torres, kept everything running smoothly, always stepping up to meet TW’s needs.

Their combined efforts made TW’s dream of permanent housing a reality.

But it wasn’t just what they did. It was how they did it.

Every success story at Grandma’s House of Hope has a team of dedicated hearts behind it.

TW's graduation from our program is bittersweet. Her joy, laughter, and determination left a lasting mark on us.

We couldn’t be prouder of the incredible journey she’s taken. From heartbreak to hope, TW’s story is a testament to the strength of the human spirit—and the power of community, the power of Grandma's House of Hope.

Helping people like TW is at the heart of what we do. And it’s why we’re asking you to join us. Help more people like TW go from heartbreak to hope—with or without the vintage chic!

Send a quick thank-you to this incredible team! Your words mean the world to them and keep them fueled for the next journey!

Thank you for being part of this mission.  Let’s keep going.  There’s so much more hope to build.
