Did you know? Over 150 million people worldwide are homeless, according to the World Economic Forum. Here in Orange County, on any given night, 7,322 people are without a home.
But numbers only tell part of the story.
World Homeless Day is more than just a date on the calendar. It’s a rallying cry. A reminder that we can make a difference.
Lamora was homeless for 10 years before finding Grandma's House of Hope. Her story is one of resilience, hope, and transformation.
Through the support of people like you, Lamora recieved what she needed to restore her life. She got a job that made her self-sufficient and permanent housing to live on her own. Now Lamora is in school full-time and is giving back by helping others. Stay tuned to read about Lamora's story in a future email.
By raising awareness, we shine a light on the real lives behind the statistics.
By advocating for policy changes, we push for systemic solutions to homelessness.
By donating our time, talent and treasure, we provide the resources needed to restore lives.
By donating our Birthday, we can give in honor of a family member, friend or colleague's birthday to Grandma's House of Hope Housing Programs.
And, by giving through your Employer Matching Program, your donation can be doubled.
Together, we can turn the tide.
Let's make World Homeless Day a catalyst for REAL, LASTING CHANGE. In honor of World Homeless Day give to Grandma's House of Hope!
At Grandma's House of Hope, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and commitment. Together, we're building a safe place to call home for those who need it most.
We invite you to take this journey with Grandma’s House of Hope. A journey of hope, healing and restoration. Together, we can EMPOWER the INVISIBLE POPULATION of ORANGE COUNTY!
